AOL thins out graphics to take some of the load off of their servers.
Good for AOL ... but images show up blurred and out of focus for AOL users.
A simple, easy-to-make setting corrects this problem.
In the icon-bar across the top of your AOL brower screen, click on "My AOL"
... then click on "Preferences" ...
... then click on the "WWW" icon ...
... then click on the "Web Graphics" tab ...
... if "Use Compressed Graphics" has a check-mark in the box next to it, click the check-mark to uncheck it and then close the window.
That's all there is to it!
